Our classes and gatherings are an outgrowth of both our seasonal farm activities and requests from members who are interested in particular farm and home-making activities like making compost, preserving food, or keeping bees. Most of our classes are taught by the Camp Joy staff; occasionally we also invite friends to teach classes in their specialty. Both classes and our special events offer a special opportunity for old and new friends to tour the garden, revel in its bounty, and talk with the people who tend it.
Camp Joy members receive a $10.00 discount on classes. Join any time – $25 annual dues. Become a member!
No one will be turned away from learning! Scholarships available. Call us at 831-338-3651 or send an email to campjoy@cruzio.com for inquiries.
Mother’s Day Weekend Saturday May 11th & Sunday May 12th 9am – 1pm
We will have lots of starts to offer for sale at our Annual Spring Plant Sale. Peppers and tomatoes in 3 and 4 inch pots and various gallon perennials as well as a limited selection of other annual flowers herbs and vegetables.
This is happening as we normally do on Mother’s Day Weekend. Saturday May 11th and Sunday May 12th from 9-1pm on both days.
Feel free to come and stroll the garden and share some time on the land with each other. Picnics are encouraged, just stick to the paths and keep a close eye on your children or parents whatever the case may be. Please leave your dogs at home, we have plenty already!
Bring small change or a check to pay, we have no internet to run cards by the greenhouse.
We will be near by but will have our checkout station be more or less self serve. We are learning to be together again, so we might keep it short to keep us all safe! We will have some additional value-added farm goodies for sale.
Email us with any specific questions you may have. You can also renew your membership when you come or by clicking on the link, we are so grateful for your support.
Bring your own boxes or trays to carry away plants. We love to reuse gently used plant containers so feel free to exchange or drop some off once you’ve planted your garden. We hope your garden grows well!
